Does CCTV camera help to reduce the Crime rate ?

In CCTV, the shopkeeper of Maharashtra was killed by the robbers with a sword. The shopkeeper was seen trying to fight the attackers but was severely attacked with a sword.

A shopkeeper was stabbed to death by robbers on Tuesday night in Maharashtra's Buldhana district. The incident was caught on a Wireless CCTV camera installed inside and outside the electronics shop in Chikhli town of Buldhana. The shop owner, identified as Kamlesh Popat, was preparing to shut down for the day and go home when two masked men barged into the outlet.

In the CCTV camera footage of the incident, one of the accused can be seen approaching the owner sitting behind his desk. He then immediately draws out a weapon, which looks like a gun, and points it at the owner while the other accused draws a sword from behind. 

The shopkeeper was seen trying to fight the attackers but was severely attacked with a sword. They soon fled with the stolen money and other valuables on their motorcycles from a shop named Anand Electronics. The shopkeeper was lying in a pool of blood inside the shop in a critical condition and he died in no time.

The police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident, due to which there is an atmosphere of panic among the local shopkeepers of the area.
